The House of Ganbert
Established by Mr Kastaki Saleem Ganbert in the city of Port Sudan, where the family were mainly provided services for and supported the Port of Port Sudan in Stevedoring Services, Break-Bulk Shipping, Port Handling, Shipping Line Agents, Customs Clearance, Transport and Removals Services.
We have then branched out by adding a trading company to our portfolio, to include the importation and distribution of Household Goods and Kitchenware and Water Filters – representing iconic brands such as Duralex , Pyrex, Moulinex, British Berkfeld, Doulton, Addis, Victory Brushes, Dettol, and many others.
We have opened a retail a show room next at Port Sudan in the early 30s.
was pivotal in the country’s demand for independence from colonial rule , and when Sudan had finally became independent in 1956, the Ganbert Family had relocated their Headquarters to Khartoum – at the iconic Gamhuria Avenue – where they also opened a Retail showroom to promote their products as well as their services.
The Removals and Logistics side had continued at Port Sudan and Khartoum.
In 2004, the grandson, Kastaki Ganbert, had taken over and expanded the business into full Relocation company with all the added services.
More partnerships were formed, services improved and innovative products launched.
Our Mission
When we provide an excellent service, it is as if Sudan had provided that excellent service. To continue to innovate, improve, promote our country, while taking care of our environment.
